Thousands of pounds were raised for good causes by leading lights of the dental sector at an annual winter charity ball.
The third Dental Charity Winter Ball, hosted by Sheffield-based S4S Dental Laboratory, raised £2585.15 for Dentaid, one of the world’s leading oral health charities.
The event, which was sponsored John Holland as well as a number of industry leaders from the dental sector, was launched in 2015 to raise vital funds and awareness for dental charities across the country.
The ball featured a speech by a representative from Dentaid and a drinks reception provided by ourselves. We also provided our company Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG to be displayed at the event, which included entertainment including a magician, games and a live band.
Other event sponsors were South Yorkshire-based 4Health Dental Agency and Sheffield-based dentistry specialist, one80dental.
Matt Everatt, technical director of S4S Dental Ltd, said: “After the excellent first two Dental Charity Balls in 2015 and 2016, this year had a lot to live up to.
“But it certainly delivered. It was great to see the who’s who of the dental industry enjoying themselves and, most importantly, raising some vital funds for a fantastic cause, Dentaid.
“We’re extremely grateful to all those who made this year’s event possible and are looking forward to next year already!”
Mark Holland, our managing director, said: “We were delighted to be part of the 2017 Dental Charity Ball with our good friends from S4S Dental Laboratory – it was a great night with some fantastic entertainment.
“It’s also brilliant to hear how much was raised for such a good cause – it was fantastic to be part of it once more and we’re looking forward to being involved next time out, too.”
