Supercar Experience raises more than £20,000 for charity

We’re delighted that the Supercar Experience 2017, which was held at Meadowhall earlier this month, raised more than £20,000 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

We were the headline sponsor for the second year of the event after a successful first outing for the spectacular show in 2016.

The inaugural Supercar Experience in 2016 raised an impressive £6,500 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice but a much bigger 2017 version saw that fundraising total trebled.

More than 10,000 people visited the show, at which we displayed 11 of our finest cars, including our John Holland-branded Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, inside the shopping centre itself.

The event, organised by our partners Supercar Driver in collaboration with Meadowhall and Bluebell Wood, featured more than 80 of Supercar Driver’s members’ exotic cars – Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Aston Martins, Porsches among them.

Mark Holland, our managing director, said: “It was a pleasure sponsoring the Supercar Experience once more, and it’s fantastic to see that so much was raised for a brilliant local charity.

“Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice does so much for the community and we’re extremely proud to be associated with them.

“Now we’re hoping for the same again in 2018 after a huge expansion on the event from 2016.”
