We were delighted to help teach life skills to youngsters at a junior school in Sheffield.
Our detailer Dean Gregory was invited to Concord Junior School in Wincobank along with several other businesses, including The Star newspaper, South Yorkshire Police and South Yorkshire Fire Service.
Kids learnt all about how professionals go about their daily jobs, and our John Holland-branded Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, driven by Dean, proved a real hit with pupils.
The initiative is part of a wider scheme run by the school to educate young people about crucial life skills from an early age.
Dean told The Star: “They had a lot of interesting questions – they were telling me their favourite cars, such as Ferrari and Lamborghini.
“A lot of them seemed interested in a career to do with motor vehicles, even at this early age, so it was good to point them in the right direction.”
Our general manager, Tony Entwistle, said: “It was great to support this fantastic initiative run by a brilliant local school.
“Dean had a great time hearing all about pupils’ ambitions for the future – as well as their favourite cars – and it was great to see that the kids enjoyed seeing our Mercedes SLS AMG, too!”
