Our prestige car dealership came top of the podium again after winning first prize at the Trading Standards Retailer Awards for the second consecutive year.
We won the Trading Standards Services South Yorkshire Partnership’s Retailer of the Year 2016 award for South Yorkshire, the second year in a row in which we’ve come first in the region.
Two members of our team – driver David Willey and detailer Dean Gregory – also came runners-up in the Outstanding Customer Service award category, making it an even more successful day for us.
The pair were shortlisted after they personally delivered a rare 1969 Porsche 911 Targa to a customer in Menorca, a journey of more than 1,200 miles.
Peter Lefley, our Business and Marketing manager, attended the awards. He said: “This is another outstanding achievement and is testament to the exceptional work of the dedicated team here at John Holland.
“We work hard to deliver the very best service for every single one of our customers and it’s great to see this recognised with awards such as this one.
“Winning this title for a second year running also demonstrates how much John Holland has grown as a business, even since this time last year. To win an award once is a tremendous achievement but to win it twice in a row shows that this business is special.
“It was also great to see Dean and David shortlisted for their outstanding customer service after they travelled more than 1,200 miles to deliver a vehicle. This just serves to demonstrate how far we are prepared to go for our clients and the level of customer service we offer.”
