Our customer service has been praised after we personally delivered a rare Porsche to its new owner – more than 1,200 miles away in Menorca.
A rare 1969 Porsche 911 Targa was purchased from our showroom by a car collector based in Ciutadella, Menorca.
The car’s proud new owner, Paul Kilvington, first came across the vehicle on our website. He said: “I knew from the moment I walked into John Holland that I was in safe hands. The car was exactly as described and it was a refreshing change to have the opportunity to detail the car to my specification and to keep the originality and gentle patination, rather than it be over restored.
“Agreeing a mutually satisfactory price and works to be undertaken was a quick and straightforward process and given the tight deadline, with the car needing to be delivered to Menorca on my birthday, everything was finished exactly as I had hoped.
“John Holland staff hand delivering the car, trailering from Sheffield to Menorca, and were very reassuring, particularly with regular updates on progress.
“In my experience John Holland thoroughly deserves its reputation and title of ‘Dealership of the Year’. I already have my eye on another one of their classics - maybe I will give them even more of a challenge this time.”
Over the past few years, we have successfully delivered cars to locations such as exotic locations such as Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus, Malaysia and the Ascension Islands in the South Pacific.
Our showroom currently sees around 150 sports, luxury and prestige vehicles per month, which are hand-picked by our team of professional buyers.
MD Mark Holland said: “We enjoy great relationships with our growing list of customers and we pride ourselves on our levels of service, attention to detail, and going above and beyond for our customers.
“The journey to deliver the Porsche involved a long drive, a few ferries and some overnight stays but we’re grateful for Paul’s positive feedback but more importantly delighted to have another happy customer on our hands.”
